** The baptism in 1705 is recorded for Richard – but cannot find any further reference for him in a burial, marriage or mention in father’s will. It is possible that an error was made in the baptism record as a large space has been left for the child’s name as though it was to be filled in at a later date and then Richard written instead of William. William is mentioned in his father’s will and is also an executor of the will. It is strange that a baptism record for William cannot be found.
The Will of Thomas Spark of Oxton in the parish of Woodchurch, written in 1731, mentions his wife Alice, sons Thomas, Peter, William, John, George, Joseph and Daniel and daughters Alice and Ann. (there is no mention of a son Richard)
