It is not clear how many children they had as they appeared to move away from the Chirk area. The Non-Conformist records for Liverpool show three baptisms in 1805, 1807 and 1809. The 1809 record gives Eleanor’s maiden name as Holland so these appear to be the correct family. This leaves a 5 year gap after their marriage but this gap could be filled by two likely baptisms in Chester in 1801 and 1803. However, the name Ellinor is used twice which would require the first one to have died before the second was born and, as yet, a suitable burial record has not been found. |
